Class 2 Delivery Driver

We are pleased to be in a position to offer this excellent opportunity to join our Transport team.

Role

We are looking for a class 2 driver with an enthusiastic and hard-working attitude, who also has strong customer service skills and a professional and personable approach. Good geographical knowledge of the Northwest, Northeast, North Wales, Cumbria, and the Midlands would be advantageous, delivering multi drop orders of timber.

Some deliveries require handballing bundles of timber so please consider this when applying.

Candidate

A trustworthy, ambitious, hardworking candidate with a polite manner.

Some previous history in the timber trade would be preferred but not essential.

Someone not afraid to go the extra mile when required.

A selfless attitude towards fellow professionals ensuring a good team togetherness.

  • Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of six penalty points
  • Class 2 Licence
  • Digital Tacho Card
  • Up to date CPC training
  • Good knowledge and understanding of health and safety relating to the role
  • Good geographical knowledge

Picker / Sideloader Driver

We are pleased to be in a position to offer this excellent opportunity to join our Production Mill team.

Role

Involvement in a range of duties which include -

  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Order picking for customers
  • General house keeping
  • Manual handling
Candidate
  • Must have experience and hold a valid Sideloader Licence.
  • Confident in English and Maths at GCSE level or equal
  • Punctual
  • Show initiative
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn
  • Someone not afraid to go the extra mile when required
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older due to insurance requirements
